APPROPRIATED SPACE

THE INITIAL DEADLINE FOR APPROPRIATIONS HAS PASSED HOWEVER.... contributions will still be accepted as part of my ongoing research. I do not know you, you do not know me. There is a space between us. Within this space there occurs a series of collisions, misfires, commonalities, and inescapable bounds wherein we are tied by a relation of non-identification and otherness. We form our own narratives based on our inability to understand completely. I have put out a call, distributed a text, this text is no longer mine. When it returns to me it will have been transformed based on the experience of the reader. The reader becomes the new author. When it returns to me it will be one amongst many, a motley ensemble, a series of examples of what the text could be. When it returns to me this motley ensemble will become a unity a collaboration. When it returns to me I will set about rewriting the text as something more complete (or something that has deteriorated completely) generated by the responses. Once it is rewritten it will become a publication. Until then this space charts the progress and dissemination of piece.
